NPN Closure, ensuring the product’s source
The glass bottle mouth, referred to as “NPN” in the market, complies with widest glass pressure closure regulations in the liqueur and spirits sector, and is highly sensitive to counterfeiting, fraud and sabotage.
The choice of this packaging is due the need to guarantee the source of the liqueurs and avoid refilling and tampering. For this reason, we aim at providing complex anti-refillable and extraction mechanisms in our closures. This system also simplifies the application of the product, enabling greater speed on production lines or the industrialization of the packaging process. Of course, it also guarantees the perfect condition of the product until its consumption.
For this packaging, we have two product lines: one made entirely of plastic, called Gades, and a more complex one, called Captor, offering greater value and aimed at the premium market. Both cover the two standard heights of 47 and 59 millimetres, respectively. They enable wide decorative possibilities, which also influences the purchase decision of consumers.
NPN closures that guarantee non-refillability
With these different options, we obtain different pouring and control levels, as well as ensuring non-refillability. We seek the best consumer experience and to influence repeat purchases. We always emphasize the correct non-drop operation, which avoids the uncontrolled spill of the product on the bottle, which tarnishing the user’s experience and brand image.
The long consumption time of oils makes consumers multiply their interactions with their product, so we must ensure functionality and maximize the user experience. At Torrent Group, we like to say that we face over 150 moments of truth.
NPN Closure, made with 90% recyclable materials.
Technically, the NPN closure comprises several plastic parts that interact mechanically, with a seal that tears or shows when it has been opened for the first time. This mechanical assembly enables the separation of materials which owing to their composition are recyclable: aluminium, polypropylene and polyethylene.
The aluminium supplied by our supplier comes from at least 90% recycled material, in part externally sourced and in part sourced from its own processes.
