Torrent Group production plants

The Torrent Group’s six production plants, with their total surface area of 50,000 m2 (of which 26,000 m2 are buildings), are the foundations of its national and international productive capacity. Therefore, the availability of land enables us to continue to grow sustainably.

Four production plants in Spain

Our four production plants in Spain lead the manufacturing process for aluminium, plastic and cork closures. Located in Jerez de la Frontera and El Puerto de Santa María, in Cádiz province, the central factories produce closures for the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, liqueur, spirits and wine sectors.

The sustainable growth of Alisha Torrent Closures has been ongoing since 2012, the year we began our activities in India with the local company, RJ Corp. Five years after the start of our Indian factory, a new 8,800 m2 production plant was built on a 13,000 m2 surface. This will allow us to expand in the future.

Torrent Group production plants in India and Africa

Located in Jaipur, the India factor uses the most modern technology in the plastic stopper for liqueurs sector. This is a distinctive factor which translates into high levels of competitiveness.

In 2017, Torrent Group strengthened its presence in the world closure solutions market with the start-up of a new production plant in Nairobi (Kenya). The 8,850m2 factory enables our group to get closer to customers in the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and therefore improve production through the reduction of costs in manufacturing and shipping charges.

With more than 1,300 million stoppers manufactured per year and distributed to around 70 countries, our production plants are leaders in the manufacturing of Extra Virgin Olive Oil stoppers for the world and hold second place for liqueurs and spirits. Not forgetting stoppers for wine.
