Once again, we were delighted to attend this meeting of the tequila industry. And especially this year, when the National Tequila Industry Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 60th year. On 31st October, Julio Paredes, our Marketing Manager, and Manuel Garfia, Torrent Group Area Manager, were at the gala dinner held in Mexico to mark the 60th Anniversary.
The National Tequila Industry Chamber of Commerce is the oldest existing institution in the sector.
“The celebration of this 60th anniversary is a key moment for our institution. We are making a new start with a change of image that reflects the sector’s strength and innovation, as well as maintaining and highlighting the very thing that gives life to our drink: blue agave”, said Rodolfo González, president of National Tequila Industry Chamber of Commerce.
During the 60th anniversary celebrations, González pointed out that the institution is in a crucial but robust position, which is why renewal is important, without losing sight of its objectives: protecting, promoting and marketing Tequila.
